People who grace the space are seen in tv and film, the space also regularly books top dance industry professionals in casting, directing, producing and choreography. Ms. Blackbird holds Golden Key Honors Society recognition from her Masters in Education, Cultural Studies and Teaching, Bachelor’s in Dance with Honors from Smith College in MA also: Who’s Who in Execs, Business and Female owned organizational awards 2010-2012. With choreography awards for her & her students in international competitions in Canada and the US throughout the past two decades, she has toured as a performer and arts educator including working in off-Broadway shows, films, tv series, commercials and creating an opening act for Tina Turner’s L’eggs concert. Some of her recent LA based students have formed crews of their own and been featured on ABDC top 30!!
