Rules & Policies
Studio Respect: Please do not touch any mirrors, lean on them, or use them for weight bearing dance purposes.
Please do not touch sound equipment unless you are the teacher, or designated special guest or renter. Please deposit
all trash in the garbage cans provided. WE DO RECYCLE! No gum or candy on the dance floor. All drinks and food
remain off the wood flooring. Exceptions may be made for event parties.
Please bring a towel or mat to class to avoid excessive dampening of the floor during classes. Report all damp or wet
areas on the floor immediately to the teacher and front desk. Avoid the area as to prevent injuries or slipping. Please
limit use of body oils and lotions before classes as these products can make skin and floors slippery.
Please turn off sound on cell phones and pagers while in class. Teachers and front desk have the right to restrict the
number of students in the class to keep a safe and productive environment. No one may take photograph, video
records, or dance notation of any class at any time without permission of instructor and front desk.
Periodically teachers may be subject to change due to the professional entertainment industry. Our instructors are
also working professional dancers and choreographers. All subs are approved by teacher and BDC. All students are to
check in and pay prior to each class.
Individual Respect: Please leave your attitude at the door. We are creating a positive and encouraging environment
for all to learn and develop their craft. Please respect others' space and stay aware of your own space for safety.
Late comers may add to the class with the permission of the instructor and front desk. Please stretch before joining in
as to not injure yourself. Discretion is up to the individual teacher. Please wear proper attire for each style of dance
and fitness exercise class. Excessive jewelry can be dangerous for self and other dancers.
For injuries, or chronic pains we need to know about them! Please speak with the front desk and teacher prior to
participation for your safety. Dance and fitness exercise is a voluntary involvement that includes an understandable
amount of risk. If we feel that it is not safe for you or others to continue in the class we have the right to refuse
service to anyone. Report all accidents and injuries to the teacher and our staff at the front desk immediately. All
accidents and injuries must have an accident report issued.
No alcohol or drugs on the premises. No smoking in the upstairs balcony. Please leave valuables at home. We will not
be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items. General personal items left behind: such as clothing or dance
shoes are placed in a Lost and Found Bin and are emptied every month.
Park at your own risk. There is a security attendant during most hours. Parking is free for one hour class with
validation. Teachers, Special Guests and Renters will be added to the parking list for waived parking fees. Parents
and little ones are welcome to stay in the lobby, green room, or outdoor seating area during classes, unless otherwise
advised by the teacher or front desk. For safety refrain from rough play on the 2nd floor balcony area.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER - Dancing is a strenuous activity from which injuries could arise. BDC and all its affiliates, associates,
and teachers are NOT LIABLE for personal injuries, or loss of, or damage to personal property. Each student may decline to
participate in any activity. Please inform instructor of any physical limitations you may have. If you are in doubt as to your
physical abilities, please consult your physician before participating. BDC can not dispense medication. Dancers under the
age of 18 must include the signature of their parent or legal guardian with their signed release. Participants understand
